Internship - Management Control & Data / Performance (M/F)

Reporting to the Management Control Manager, you will be at the heart of performance management and the structuring of financial data. You will act as the link between operational teams and finance: analyze, validate, and automate information to help teams make quick and sound decisions, both on commercial performance and operating expenses.

Beyond traditional management control, you will directly contribute to our data projects: building a unified Revenue/Margin database and automating recurring reporting. A real playground for a profile that enjoys combining finance and tools.

Missions

1. Analysis of commercial performance and forecast

• Ensure the weekly analysis of installations, sell-out, and distributor stocks.
• Update this data in our Anaplan planning tool and alert on significant variations.
• Participate in monthly forecast reviews with sales teams to analyze consistency and deviations from budget.

2. Monitoring of operational performance and OPEX

• Assist the finance team in deploying the monitoring of operating expenses (OPEX) by department.
• Analyze and present OPEX monitoring to budget managers, with a real alert role on overruns.

3. Automation and validation of reporting

• Contribute to the construction and validation of our Revenue/Margin database (reconciliation of multi-source SAP and e-commerce data).
• Automate recurring reports (Net Margin, OPEX, Finance Flash) using dedicated queries and tools.
• Participate in analyses related to new flows: Shopify migration, B2B partnerships, and new integration projects.

4. Management of tools and ad-hoc analyses

• Ensure the collection, updating, and reliability of data in our management tools.
• Perform specific analyses for other departments: installation forecasts for customer service, estimation of volumes for new products, etc.

Requirements

• Student in a business school, engineering school, or finance/data program, on a gap year or at the end of studies, with initial exposure to management control and a strong interest in data.
• Excellent command of Excel: advanced formulas, pivot tables, modeling.
• Strong aptitude for data and automation. Basic knowledge of SQL and/or Python is a significant plus and can be developed during the internship.
• Knowledge of Anaplan and/or SAP is an asset.
• Organized and rigorous, you manage multiple subjects in parallel.
• Autonomous and curious, you take initiative and learn quickly.
• Excellent communicator, you enjoy teamwork and can interact with diverse stakeholders.
• You are fluent in English.
