About the job
During your internship in service at Landal Het Vennenbos, you'll be right in the middle of the holiday atmosphere. Guests don't just come to us for good food and drinks, but especially for a cozy time together. You contribute to making every visit to our hospitality a moment to enjoy. From taking orders to serving drinks and dishes: you are constantly in contact with our guests. You will learn how to assist different guests in a hospitable and professional manner and how to ensure everything runs smoothly with your colleagues. One day might start quietly, and the next day the place can suddenly be full. Precisely this variety makes your internship interesting! You can start with us all year round. What you will do
Welcoming guests: You will welcome guests and ensure they immediately feel at ease. Taking orders: You will take orders, explain the offerings, and ensure they are correctly passed on to the kitchen or bar. Serving: You will bring dishes and drinks to the guests and, at the same time, keep a close eye on whether everything is to their satisfaction. Guest interaction: You will easily strike up conversations, answer questions, and ensure guests are seated at their tables with a smile. Collaboration: You will work closely with your colleagues in service, the kitchen, and other hospitality departments. Together, you will ensure every guest has a great experience. Keeping tables and the restaurant tidy: You will clear tables and prepare them for the next guests. You will see what needs to be done and tackle it. Who you are
- You are pursuing a study program in Hospitality, Hospitality, Recreation, Tourism, or a comparable program. - You are hospitable, social, and enjoy interacting with different guests. - You like to get things done and get energy from a cozy, sometimes busy work environment. - You enjoy teamwork and like learning new things. - You are eager to learn and want to develop yourself within the hospitality industry. What we offer you
During your internship at Landal Het Vennenbos, you will gain practical experience in the hospitality industry in a cozy holiday atmosphere. You will work with an enthusiastic team, get ample opportunities to gain experience, and can continuously develop yourself. Internship allowance: An internship allowance of €500 gross per month* Travel expenses reimbursement: €0.23 per km if you incur costs outside of your student public transport pass Supervision: Good supervision from an SBB/ELHBO-recognized practical supervisor Assignments: Room to complete your internship assignment Development: Extensive training and development opportunities Facilities: Free use of our park facilities Accommodation: The possibility to stay overnight at the park Future: Chance to continue working at Landal after your internship! *A full-time internship is 38 hours per week, which is equivalent to a 5-day internship week. If you intern less than 5 days per week, your internship allowance and holiday days will be calculated on a pro-rata basis.
