Job description
Within the AMI Buying department, the Buying/Retail Merchandising Assistant will join a team at the heart of product performance in an international (Europe / North America) and omnichannel environment. This internship offers complete immersion in a dynamic department, allowing them to develop a keen understanding of the product, commercial, and strategic challenges of a rapidly expanding fashion house.
Contribution to Offer Development
Support and preparation for buying sessions
Participation and coordination during seasonal showrooms - Participation in the development
of product assortments by point of sale according to budgets and regional specificities
Writing end-of-showroom and end-of-season reports (qualitative and quantitative). As well as
various in-season presentation materials.
Competitive intelligence and identification of product development opportunities in the
market.
Product Performance Management
Analysis of product KPIs and participation in associated action plans in collaboration with
the Training and VM departments
Updating performance reports for sales departments and store managers.
Support and coordination during collection launches in collaboration with the
Distribution Planner.
Participation in store visits: consolidation of needs and qualitative feedback.
Coordination & Cross-functional Projects
Close collaboration with retail and e-commerce teams
Participation in projects to optimize tools and processes
Proposal of product pushes based on purchase and sales volumes
Educational background Bac+4/5 (business school, fashion school, or equivalent university degree):
Strong product sensitivity and marked interest in the world of luxury and fashion
Solid analytical skills and excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint
Rigor, attention to detail, and high standards in execution
Ability to thrive in an international and demanding environment
Fluent English essential

Critical thinking and ability to formulate recommendations
6-month internship recognized by a state-approved institution only, to start mid-December / early January.
