The Internship Assignments

We have two interesting internship assignments open at the HR department. Both assignments are focused on making our HR processes smarter, more efficient, and less error-prone. Together, we will determine which assignment best suits your education, interests, and qualities.

Assignment 1: Optimization of HR and Absence Processes
Within HR, many changes occur in Medicum, our absence monitor, and AFAS. Some of these changes directly affect payslips and salary payments. You will map out the current process and investigate how we can streamline it. The goal is to better align processes, reduce manual work, and minimize the chance of errors in salary payments.

You will be involved in, among other things:

• Analyzing and mapping out the current processes and change streams;

• Identifying bottlenecks and error-prone steps;

• Investigating possibilities for automation and process improvement;

• Developing practical advice for a more efficient way of working.

Assignment 2: Temporary Staff Process & Management Information
At Nedlin, we collaborate with various in-house temporary employment agencies. To gain insight into performance, management information is currently largely manually maintained in a dashboard. During this internship, you will investigate how we can further professionalize and automate this process.

You will be involved in, among other things:

• Mapping out and improving the current temporary staff process;

• Analyzing the available management information;

• Investigating how data can be processed more smartly and automated;

• Improving the dashboard and the reliability of the information;

• Developing advice that will give HR better and faster insight into the performance of our in-house temporary employment agencies.

  • € 400,- gross per month for HBO students (based on 40 hours per week);

Who are you?

• You are pursuing a higher professional education (HBO) degree, for example in Commercial Economics, Business Studies (focus on HR), or International Business.

• You work independently, accurately, and proactively.

• You easily communicate with different colleagues.

• You are available 32 to 40 hours per week for a hands-on or graduation internship.

• You can independently travel to our location in Elsloo.
