The Internship Assignments

Within the Finance department, we have several challenging internship assignments open, ranging from AI and automation to data and process optimization. Together, we will look at your interests and education to determine which assignment best suits you.

1. Make our quarterly closing smarter: Investigate how we can make the quarterly closing faster and more efficient by automating manual tasks. Your challenge: Develop a smart, reliable, and as automated as possible working method.

2. Get more out of AI within Purchase-to-Pay: Investigate how AI can further optimize and automate our Purchase-to-Pay process.
   Your challenge: Discover which process steps we can make even smarter with AI.

3. Prepare Nedlin for Peppol: Investigate what the further rollout of Peppol means and create a practical implementation plan.
   Your challenge: Ensure a future-proof integration of Peppol into our financial process.

1. Design the accounts receivable process of the future: Investigate how technology and automation can make our dunning process smarter and more efficient. Your challenge: Design a smart and data-driven accounts receivable process.

2. From data to insight: Investigate how we can set up our data, data sources, and dashboards more intelligently.
   Your challenge: Ensure that reliable data is available faster and more easily.

3. Make financial mailboxes smarter with AI: Investigate how we can automatically recognize and process incoming emails and documents with AI and programming.
   Your challenge: Develop a concept or prototype for smart mailbox management.

4. Discover automation opportunities in our processes: Map out processes within Nedlin and discover opportunities for digitalization, standardization, and automation. Your challenge: Translate your insights into concrete improvements for smarter and more efficient processes.

What do we offer?

• Internship allowance:

  • € 400 gross per month for higher vocational education (HBO) students (based on 40 hours per week);

• An educational internship within one of the most modern and sustainable laundries in Europe;

Who are you?

• You are following a higher vocational education (HBO) program, for example Commercial Economics, Business Studies, Facility Management, Accountancy, Finance & Control, or International Business.

• You work independently, accurately, and proactively.

• You communicate easily with different colleagues.

• You are available 32 to 40 hours per week for a practical or graduation internship.

• You can travel independently to our location in Elsloo.

• You ask critical 'why' questions and enjoy thinking in structures.

• You combine an analytical perspective with creative solutions.
