Staff Software Developer Kotlin

Scope of duties Creating and developing fundamental libraries for the Kotlin language. Maintaining key components used by the global developer community. Participating in the design and shaping of Kotlin APIs. Collaborating on the creation of tools, specifications, and new language functionalities. Analyzing complex technical problems and making design decisions. Preparing technical documentation and proposing architectural solutions. Requirements Very good knowledge of Kotlin or Java and the JVM platform. Experience in designing, creating, and maintaining libraries, frameworks, or APIs used by many developers. Ability to design technical solutions and make informed architectural decisions. Experience in analyzing and solving complex programming problems. Knowledge of API design principles and creating high-quality, maintainable code. Ability to prepare technical documentation and justify design decisions. Good knowledge of application performance and code optimization issues. Very good knowledge of English enabling work in an international environment. Nice to have: Knowledge of internal JVM mechanisms and Java standard libraries. Experience in developing development tools, SDKs, or open-source projects. Interest in technical specifications, standards, and programming language design.
