As Staff Network Solutions Architect, you are the driving force behind the technical definition, design, and architectural guidance of network architectures and services in cloud environments. Aufgabenbereich

• Leitung der Netzwerk-Architektur for the IONOS Public-Cloud-Environment and ensuring compliance with the overarching hosting infrastructure-strategy.
• Zusammenarbeit with Product Owners, DevOps-Teams, SDN-Developers, platform-agnostic and network-engineering-Teams, to define technical and product-related solutions that are feasible, scalable, and architecturally conform.
• Einbringen technischer Eingaben in Product- and Technology-Roadmaps and forecasting future business and technical requirements.
• Recherche, Bewertung, Design und Deployment of new network technologies (SDN, Virtual Networking, Automation, Security-Frameworks).
• Beratung von Stakeholdern und Enterprise-Kunden: Translating high business requirements into concrete technical tasks.
• Erstellung und Pflege of High-Level- and Low-Level-Designs (HLD/LLD) as well as detailed architectural documentation.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ Jahre Erfahrung in Netzwerk-Architektur und -Design, including Public-Cloud-Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Tiefes Verständnis von Data-Center-Fabric-Architekturen and the implementation of network-services and VNFs thereon.
• Expertise in SDN, NFV, Routing, Switching, Firewalling, and Hybrid-Networking.
• Nachgewiesene Erfahrung in der Leitung komplexer Netzwerkprojekte as Architect and technical Leader.
• Design of sicheren, skalierbaren und resilienten Netzwerken for Public-Cloud-Environments.
• Solide Erfahrung mit virtualisierten Umgebungen (KVM, Open vSwitch, Linux-Bridges).
• Vertrautheit mit Automation- und DevOps-Praktiken für Networking (Netbox, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD).
• Starker Hintergrund in Linux-Systemen, including Python, nftables, iptables, Git.
• Ausgeprägte Dokumentations- und Architekturfähigkeiten (HLD, LLD, Diagramme).
• Hervorragende Kommunikationsfähigkeiten: You can translate complex technical concepts into clear business value for different stakeholders.
• Hohe Resilienz und Anpassungsfähigkeit, to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
