As a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at Auror, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining machine learning models that drive the detection and prevention of Organised Retail Crime. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a cutting-edge technology platform that’s making a real difference in the retail industry. Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain machine learning models that drive the detection and prevention of Organised Retail Crime * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and security experts to integrate machine learning models into our platform * Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet those needs * Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and apply this knowledge to improve our models and platform * Contribute to the development of a data-driven culture within Auror, by sharing knowledge and best practices with colleagues * Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our software engineering processes * Work on a variety of projects, including developing new features, improving existing ones, and troubleshooting issues * Collaborate with other teams to identify and prioritize opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed Requirements: * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related field * 3+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, data science, or a related field * Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or Julia * Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn * Familiarity with cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills * Strong communication and collaboration skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities * Experience working on large-scale data processing and analysis projects is a plus * Familiarity with SQL and database management systems is a plus What We Offer: * Competitive salary and benefits package * Opportunity to work on a mission-driven project that’s making a real difference in the retail industry * Collaborative and dynamic work environment * Professional development opportunities, including training and mentorship programs * Flexible working hours and remote work options * Access to cutting-edge technology and tools * Recognition and rewards for outstanding performance How to Apply: If you’re passionate about using machine learning to tackle Organised Retail Crime and want to be part of a mission-driven organisation, please submit your application, including your CV and a cover letter explaining why you’re the ideal candidate for this role.
