SSDLC Transformation Secure Development Transformation Lead (Miguel Hidalgo, CDMX)

Are you passionate about driving technological transformation and strengthening security in software development?
At BBVA, we are looking for an SSDLC Transformation profile, responsible for leading the adoption of Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) practices, tools, and processes, promoting a culture of secure development across all engineering teams.
What will be your mission?
You will be responsible for transforming how development teams adopt security throughout the software lifecycle, driving the implementation of new tools, processes, and strategies that enable the development of more secure applications with fewer vulnerabilities.
You will work cross-functionally with Systems teams to accelerate the adoption of best practices and maximize the use of technological capabilities available within the organization.
What will you do?
- Lead transformation initiatives for the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) model.
- Drive the adoption of secure development tools and platforms within engineering teams.
- Coordinate the incorporation of code into authorized repositories for security analysis.
- Design and implement secure development training strategies for developers and technical teams.
- Promote communities of practice that drive knowledge sharing and the standardization of best practices.
- Track indicators (KPIs) related to tool adoption, training, and development quality.
- Lead a team of 3 to 5 people, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
+3 years of experience in:
Secure SDLC (SSDLC).
Application Security (AppSec).
DevSecOps.
Change management and technological transformation.
Implementation of code analysis tools.
Vulnerability management.
Software development and technological infrastructure.
Coordination of cross-functional initiatives with multiple teams.
Knowledge in tools such as:
GitHub Advanced Security.
GitHub Copilot.
SonarQube.
Jenkins.
GitOps.
Application security and vulnerability analysis tools.
Development process integration and automation platforms.
Desirable certifications:
Ethical Hacking.
Red Team.
Code vulnerability analysis.
Application Security.
Perimeter Security.
PCI DSS.
DevSecOps or cybersecurity-related disciplines.
Education:
Degree in Systems Engineering, Informatics, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field (graduated).
Master's degree desirable.
Intermediate English.
Minimum 3 years of experience driving secure development strategies or technological transformation.
Experience promoting the adoption of tools, processes, and best practices within development organizations.
