Sr System Engineer - Functional Safety

We are looking for a system engineer with a strong desire to make our products safe and reliable yet simple. In this role, you would be responsible for end-to-end process definition, implementation and execution of the best practices of system and safety engineering in the company. Requirements Responsibilities: Work closely with (customers') system and vehicle architects to understand and develop functional safety concepts and requirements. This includes defining and implementing safety-related processes, procedures and guidelines. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations such as IEC 61508, ISO 26262, and ASIL-D. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate functional safety into the overall product development process. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and maintaining system-level safety requirements and test plans; • Collaborating with architects and engineers to ensure that safety-related aspects are properly considered in the design of systems and products; • Conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies; • Developing and implementing procedures for testing, validation, and verification of functional safety-related aspects; • Collaborating with quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
