Sr Stamping Engineer (metal-mechanic specialist)

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Sr Stamping Engineer (metal-mechanic specialist). What You’ll Do Job Summary Coordinate and manage Lightspeed manufacturing engineering activities in production areas in order to support existing production line, new product development and new production lines, product transfers, equipment specifications and maintenance, lean manufacturing and EQS deployment, MESH initiatives, and product and quality cost improvements. Job Responsibilities Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, procedures, and standards for stamping operations. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and manage the implementation of new manufacturing technologies and processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that reduce costs, increase efficiency, and enhance product quality. Provide technical guidance and support to production personnel on stamping operations, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Identify and prioritize capital expenditures for manufacturing engineering projects. Manage budgets and resources for manufacturing engineering projects. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 8+ years of experience in stamping operations, manufacturing engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials. Experience with lean manufacturing principles and tools. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
