Job description
Sr. Project Manager (IT) - GOAPRDJP00000701 7000 - 113 ST Edmonton Contract 6 months 3 submissions GIMS Upgrade The Grant Information Management System (GIMS) system is currently used to deliver multiple grants to Albertans. The technology stack that these systems are built on are end of life and no longer supported, causing business disruption because of ineffective functionality. A pre-assessment was completed with a recommendation to move forward with the GIMS Cloud Migration utilizing SharePoint Online and Microsoft Azure. This project will involve upgrading the existing system to a cloud-based solution, which will provide improved scalability, reliability, and security. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading this project from start to finish, including developing a detailed project plan, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the process.
