Sr. Procurement Manager

Join our innovative team at MKS, where curiosity drives us to lead in technology advancements across industries like 5G, AR/VR, and space exploration. We are seeking a Sr. Procurement Manager to be based in Romania, who will thrive in a collaborative international environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and manage a high-performing team of buyers supporting MKS Europe business units.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to support business needs.
- Proactively drive the supply chain to meet and exceed production needs.
- Manage multiple projects and achieve purchasing goals and metrics.
- Serve as the focal point for escalation of supplier relationship issues.
- Travel to suppliers and MKS facilities as required.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain; Master's preferred.
- Knowledge of mechanical parts and electronic component manufacturers.
- Proven crisis management skills and flexibility to travel globally.
- Experience with purchasing and supply chain tools.
- Proficiency in ERP/MRP Systems, SAP, Oracle, and Microsoft Office.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English and French.
