Sr Planner

Ichor Systems is seeking a highly analytical and results-driven Senior Planner to join our Planning team. This role is critical to ensuring uninterrupted material availability for large-scale semiconductor manufacturing. The Senior Planner will develop material plans, manage direct materials procurement, optimize inventory levels, and coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to meet production, cost, and delivery goals in a fast-paced, high-precision environment. The ideal candidate must have strong analytical skills, be able to work effectively in a team-oriented environment, possess excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, and demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Key responsibilities include: • Developing material plans that meet production requirements while minimizing costs and maximizing inventory turns; • Managing direct materials procurement to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials; • Optimizing inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize efficiency; • Coordinating with suppliers and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes; • Analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas for cost reduction; • Developing and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders, including production planning, procurement, and logistics teams. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or related field, and at least 5 years of experience in supply chain management, operations research, or a related field.
