Sr. Manufacturing Industrial Engineering Manager
Job description
Position Summary The Sr. Manufacturing Industrial Engineering Manager is responsible for driving operational excellence across the manufacturing site by leading high-impact industrial engineering initiatives. This role oversees a team of engineers and partners closely with Operations leadership to optimize processes, improve productivity, reduce costs, and deploy advanced technologies. The ideal candidate brings strong strategic thinking, hands-on problem-solving capability, and a proven ability to drive results through process improvements and technology deployments. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing industrial engineering initiatives that drive operational excellence and improve manufacturing efficiency. • Leading and managing a team of engineers to achieve project goals and objectives. • Collaborating with Operations leadership to develop and implement process improvements that reduce costs, improve productivity, and enhance customer satisfaction. • Identifying and deploying advanced technologies to improve manufacturing processes and reduce waste. • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including operations leaders, engineering teams, and other functional groups. The ideal candidate will have: • A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. • At least 5 years of experience in industrial engineering or a related field. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive results through process improvements and technology deployments. • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership role. • Certification as a Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent is preferred. • Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and tools. • Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
