Sr Manager Datascience analytics

Overview Empower India’s Analytics vertical is seeking a Senior Manager to join its Reporting & Business Automation team to lead a high-performing analytics and data science team. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic stakeholder management. The ideal candidate should possess experience in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and Generative AI (including LLMs), along with solid proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud-based data environments. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and executing a comprehensive analytics strategy that aligns with the company’s overall goals and objectives. • Leading and managing a high-performing team of data scientists, analysts, and engineers to deliver cutting-edge analytics solutions. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate analytics capabilities into business processes and drive decision-making. • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and generative AI to continuously improve analytics capabilities. • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure effective communication and collaboration. • Identifying and prioritizing opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as needed. • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Providing thought leadership and expertise in data science and analytics to drive business outcomes. The ideal candidate should have: • A Master’s or Ph.D. degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields. • At least 8 years of experience in leading and managing high-performing teams in data science and analytics. • Strong technical skills in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and generative AI (including LLMs). • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud-based data environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously. • Experience working in a matrixed organization and collaborating with cross-functional teams. • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
