Sr. Food Law & Quality Manager

Your Tasks

• Creation, maintenance, and review of product and packaging specifications as well as declarations
• Legal review and approval of product labels and sales documents
• Research and advice on food law topics as well as support for international product launches
• Organization of laboratory analyses, review of analysis reports and processing of product-specific customer inquiries
• Supervision of the quality management system including HACCP, traceability and complaint management
• Preparation and support of external audits (e.g. IFS, Organic, Vegan, Halal) as well as communication with authorities and external partners
• Collaboration in crisis management and support for strategic quality and compliance projects
• Sensory evaluation of retention samples

Your Profile

• Completed studies in food technology, oecotrophology, food chemistry or comparable
• Several years of professional experience in quality management and/or food compliance in the food industry
• In-depth knowledge of food law as well as in the labeling and declaration of food
• Experience with quality and food safety standards (e.g. HACCP, IFS, organic certifications) and with external audits
• Experience in the creation and testing of product specifications and labels
• Independent, structured and responsible way of working
• Strong communication skills in dealing with authorities, laboratories and external partners
• Very good German and English skills
