Sr Financial Analyst FP&A

PRIMARY FUNCTION Financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team compiles and analyzes an organization's long-term financial strategy. In addition to creating financial plan and forecasts, FP&A team also generates reports, analyzes financial trends, calculate the effects of business decisions and advise company leaders. Target India FP&A team supports Target’s operational areas which includes Merchandising Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Digital Finance and Target India Finance teams. This position is responsible for providing critical insights to drive business decisions, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements, and developing financial models to support strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and experience with financial planning and analysis tools such as Excel, Access, or other similar software. Additionally, the candidate should be able to analyze complex data sets, identify trends and patterns, and develop recommendations based on findings. The role will also involve collaboration with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and supply chain, to drive business outcomes.
