As a key member of our Cloud Security Engineering group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying cloud-based security solutions to protect T-Mobile’s global infrastructure and applications. Key responsibilities include: • Designing and implementing cloud-based security architectures using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. • Developing and maintaining cloud-based security tools and services using languages such as Java, Python, or C#. • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud-based security solutions into T-Mobile’s global infrastructure. • Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues related to cloud-based security implementations. • Staying up-to-date with the latest cloud security trends, technologies, and best practices. • Participating in on-call rotation for 24/7 support of critical cloud-based security systems. • Collaborating with other engineers to design, develop, test, and deploy new cloud-based security features and services. • Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and developers. • Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including code comments, API documentation, and release notes. • Participating in code reviews and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. • Collaborating with QA engineers to develop and execute comprehensive testing plans for cloud-based security solutions. • Staying current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to cloud security. • Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including product managers, architects, and other technical leaders. • Participating in regular meetings with the Cloud Security Engineering team to discuss project progress, share knowledge, and identify areas for improvement.
