Requirement
Senior Design Engineer
We are seeking highly qualified, experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and enhancement of cutting-edge products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in design engineering, manufacturing know how, possess advanced problem-solving skills, and be able to lead complex design projects from concept to production. The Senior Design Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, manufacturing, and quality control to ensure high-quality and cost-effective product solutions.
Objectives of this role
Lead the design and development of new products and product improvements from concepts. Create detailed design plans, drawings, and specifications for product components. Utilize CAD software and technical drawings. Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure designs are feasible and
cost-effective. Oversee the creation of prototypes, conduct testing, and refine designs based on feedback and
testing results. Collaborate with the R&D team to implement new technologies and innovation into designs. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality
requirements. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and design staff.
Required Skills and qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proficiency in CAD tools. Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and assembly
techniques. Strong communication skills. Experience in leading and mentoring a team of engineers or designers. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
