Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable services and APIs in Node.js.

Model and optimize relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB).

Ensure code quality (tests, reviews, standards), observability, and performance.

Think about the software lifecycle: build and sustain (maintainability, monitoring, alerts).

Collaborate with Product and other teams to design simple, secure, and value-oriented solutions.

Provide transparency: communicate risks, ask for help when needed, and offer visibility of progress.

Required Qualifications

Solid experience with Node.js in the backend.

Mastery of REST APIs (and desirable GraphQL), authentication/authorization, and security best practices.

Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (modeling, performant queries, migrations).

Knowledge of testing (unitary/integrated) and CI/CD.

Familiarity with observability and performance (metrics, logs, tracing; knowing how to interpret and act).

Senior mindset: ownership, sense of urgency, autonomy with responsibility, clear communication, and teamwork.

Differentiators (nice to have)

Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic).

Knowledge of NestJS.

Nostrum of AWS and cloud ecosystem.

Prior experience in fintech/financial market (concepts like CDB, funds, etc.).
