SQL & BI Developer

This position is part of the Data Platform team that supports the development of business intelligence applications / projects for companies. The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for application development and specifications, data / process analysis, data validation, quality assurance / testing, and application / report development and support. This position involves collaboration and teamwork within the team to support project objectives. Work with software tools to develop and maintain enterprise solutions using Microsoft tools (Microsoft Analysis Services (SSAS), Power BI, Reporting Services (SSRS), and Integration Services (SSIS)) and Oracle tools (Oracle DB, ODI, OBIEE, OAS). Work with analysts and developers in mixed teams. Develop and monitor "on-demand" or "ad-hoc" reports and dashboards using the above technologies. Collaborate with client resources and other partners to understand business requirements and needs. Interpret technical documentation and specifications. Design, develop, test, debug, implement, and maintain ETL workflows, mappings, scripts, procedures, and applications for data warehouse and reporting support. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical degree from an accredited institution;
Two years of experience in consulting or developing business applications, banking services;
Strong Microsoft SQL and/or Oracle SQL programming skills
Experience with data warehouse/data marts environments.
Advanced understanding of databases and Business Intelligence concepts as well as their processes
Ability to work with Oracle or Microsoft ETL applications
Knowledge of SQL language to assist with data analysis
Advanced experience in SQL and relational/dimensional databases (4+ years)
Experience in the process of collecting technical and business requirements
Experience in data profiling, analysis, and design
Ability to document, define interface specifications, and report specifications based on requirements
Analytical skills
Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI/SSRS, Oracle BI, OAS)
ETL Software – Microsoft and/or Oracle technologies
Experience with logical design would be an advantage
Experience with Java or C# programming would be an advantage
Knowledge of reporting in the banking sector would be an advantage
Experience with cloud environments and tools (Oracle, Microsoft) would be an advantage
Experience with reporting tools (PowerBI, Oracle BI etc.) in the banking sector would be an advantage
