ekvip automation GmbH is a software house for machine and plant engineering with its headquarters in Leipzig and subsidiaries in the USA and Sarajevo. We develop TwinCAT-3 frameworks (including our open-source framework cinnamon), C# applications for the machine and production level, as well as services around commissioning. Tasks

• Design and programming of control systems for industrial plants with TwinCAT / CODESYS
• Coordination of technical commissioning – on-site, remote, and international
• Optimization and improvement of production software for increased efficiency
• Clear documentation of systems and creation of a maintenance-friendly code structure
• Collaboration with the project management and technical departments of our customers to ensure smooth project development
• Care for less experienced team members and improvement of code quality throughout the team

Qualification

• At least 3 years of experience in automation technology, including SPS programming and commissioning of special machines or production lines with Beckhoff controls
• Fundamental knowledge of SPS programming according to IEC61131-3 ST/SFC with TwinCAT and/or CODESYS
• Safe handling of various fieldbus protocols
• High willingness to travel internationally
• Safe English, German an asset
