SPS Siemens Engineer

ekvip automation GmbH is a software house
for machine and plant engineering with its headquarters in Leipzig and
subsidiaries in the USA and Sarajevo. We develop TwinCAT-3-Frameworks (including our open-source framework cinnamon), C# applications for the machine and production level, as well as services around commissioning. Our motto is simply: we shape automation.

Your tasks

Tasks

• Design and programming of control systems for industrial machines using Siemens TIA Portal
• Coordination of technical commissioning – on-site, remote, and international
• Optimization and improvement of production software for greater efficiency
• Clear documentation of systems and creation of a maintenance-friendly code structure
• Collaboration
  with the project management and technical departments of our customers to ensure smooth project development
• Care for less experienced team members and improving code quality throughout the team

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in automation technology,
  including SPS programming and commissioning of special machines or production lines with Siemens controls.
• Advanced knowledge in handling TIA-Portal from V16-V21 and the programming languages of SPS programming SCL / GRAPH.
• Experience in programming and commissioning external devices as well as programming drivers/standard blocks
• Knowledge in library management in TIA and HMI programming
• Use of Siemens control technology objects
• High willingness to travel internationally
• Safe English, German is an advantage
