SPS Programmer (m/w/d)

For our locations in Vienna or Graz or Linz, we are looking for committed SPS programmers (m/w/d). Programming of SPS control systems for highly automated plants and machines Through the development of complex automation concepts, you will contribute to the efficient operation of our customers' production facilities. Your tasks will include: • Development of SPS programs for various applications • Integration of SPS systems into existing automation architectures • Troubleshooting and optimization of SPS control systems • Collaboration with other departments (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering) to develop comprehensive solutions • Participation in project planning and implementation • Continuous learning and further education to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the field of automation • Flexibility and willingness to travel for on-site support at customer locations • Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., electrical engineering, computer science) • Several years of experience in SPS programming and automation • Proficiency in programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Function Block, or Structured Text • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., PROFIBUS, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP) • Experience with PLC programming and configuration • Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) is an advantage • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and priorities • German language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
