Job Title-Director of Sports Position Overview The University invites applications for the post of Director of Sports to lead, develop, and manage its sports and physical education programs. The position focuses on high-performance sports, revenue generation through sports activities, introduction of new sports, and achieving excellence at state and national level competitions. Key Responsibilities Formulate and implement strategic plans to win medals at state, inter-university, and national levels; Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders including coaches, athletes, and officials; Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that promotes fair play, respect, and sportsmanship; Manage budgets and resources effectively to ensure the success of sports programs; Collaborate with other departments to integrate sports into the overall university strategy. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Physical Education, or related field; Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role in sports administration; Strong understanding of sports governance structures and regulations; Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills; Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders including athletes, coaches, officials, and staff.
