The Technology Park Weinberg Campus in Halle (Saale) is one of the leading locations for life science-based innovations in Central Germany. With over 100 companies, research institutions, and numerous startups from the fields of Life Science and Bioeconomy, as well as with developed competencies in cross-sectional technologies of materials science and information technology, the Weinberg Campus offers a dynamic ecosystem for technology transfer and entrepreneurship.

We are looking for an engaged and innovation-driven personality as Specialist Marketing & Kommunikation (m/w/d).

As a specialist for marketing and communication, you will shape together with our teams from the fields of Marketing & Communication Management and Venture & Innovation Management the innovation ecosystem of the Weinberg Campus. You will take on important tasks in the strategic further development of the largest technology park in Central Germany and the thriving environment for technology-oriented startups in the region. The goal is to increase visibility and reputation, promote the settlement of young companies, and position the Weinberg Campus as a specialized innovation hub in the national and international context.

Aufgaben

• Planning, steering, and controlling marketing and communication measures for our programs supporting startups under the label “Startup Elevator Sachsen-Anhalt” and the umbrella of the “de:hub-Initiative” of the Federal Government,
• Development of a marketing campaign to attract startups and growth companies from the national and international context,
• Interaction and relationship management with startups, growth companies, investors, and network partners from business and science,
• BUILDING AND MAINTENANCE OF CONTACTS TO MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENCIES AS WELL AS TO FURTHER PARTNERS IN THE FIELD OF MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION,
• Collaboration in the development and implementation of an integrated marketing and communication strategy for the Technology Park Weinberg Campus,
• Collaboration in the further development and securing of a consistent and goal-oriented brand appearance over all channels and contact points on local, national, and international levels.

Qualifikation

• A successful degree in business administration, marketing, communication or comparable qualification,
• Prior experience in marketing or corporate communication, preferably in the context of innovation, technology development, and startups or location marketing,
• Experiences in strategy development, brand positioning, and leadership, target group analysis and market observation as well as campaign planning (online & offline),
• Knowledge in budget planning and control as well as OKR, KPI, analytical tools and reporting,
• Experience in event and project management,
• Eigeninitiative and joy in connecting ideas and people,
• A structured and reliable working style,
• Excellent communication skills and interest in network building and maintenance,
• German on a native speaker level and fluent English.
