Speech Therapist - Nurture Beacon Bay (Half-Day)

Nurture Health is seeking a passionate and patient-centred Speech Therapist to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. Reporting to the Therapy Manager, you will help patients regain communication and safe swallowing, enabling improved independence and quality of life through evidence-based rehabilitation interventions. Key Responsibilities Assess communication, swallowing, cognitive-linguistic, and functional abilities; develop and implement individualised therapy plans. Deliver interventions in a patient-centred manner, incorporating family/carer involvement as required. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain accurate records of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices and research. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures for speech therapy services. Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, respect, and teamwork. Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to relevant legislation and regulations.
