Speech Pathologist | Mixed age caseloads | Autism Focused

Speech Pathologist role in a dynamic multidisciplinary service delivering clinic and community-based care, with various clinics to choose from within Perth. With locations in Shenton Park, East Fremantle, Midland and Joondalup, the role offers work-from-home flexibility and travel up to 30 minutes from base. The position focuses on speech pathology and functional communication, including augmentative and alternative communication and supportive mealtime management. Therapists join a client-centred team, working collaboratively to deliver evidence-based interventions. The role involves assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of individualized programs for clients with a range of communication disorders, including autism spectrum disorder. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of autism and its impact on communication, and be able to develop and implement effective strategies to support clients with autism. The role also involves working with families and carers to develop strategies for supporting communication and mealtime management at home. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively with clients, families, and carers.
