Responsibilities of a Speech Pathologist: * Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. * Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. * Provide therapy to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive abilities. * Educate patients and families on strategies to manage communication and swallowing difficulties. * Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress. * Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Qualifications: * Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. * Current state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. * Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred. * Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus. * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Compassion and empathy for patients and their families.
