Speech and Language Therapist (Early Intervention)

This position involves working with pre-school aged children on the autism spectrum. In this job role, you will: Assessment Use formal and informal assessments to identify and report on the needs of child and family in the areas of: Social Communication Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Speech & Language Make relevant recommendations for intervention based on assessment findings Intervention Formulate social communication and related holistic goals for children in collaboration with parents and other professionals. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child, including strategies to promote social skills, language development, and augmentative and alternative communication methods. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for children and families. Provide ongoing assessment and intervention services to children and their families, as well as consultation and training to parents, caregivers, and other professionals.
