Freight Forwarding Clerk (m/w/d)

We are looking for you to join our partner company in Munich as „Freight Forwarding Clerk (m/w/d)“.

Duties

• As Freight Forwarding Clerk (m/w/d), you will organize and control the smooth flow of national and international goods streams
• You will plan and coordinate transports in consultation with suppliers, customers, and transportation companies, taking into account deadlines, costs, and efficiency
• You will negotiate prices and conditions with freight forwarders, compare offers, and actively contribute to optimizing logistical processes
• You will also handle communication with all parties involved in German and English and ensure transparent order processing
• You will create, check, and manage transport and customs documents and ensure a complete documentation of all shipping processes

Qualification

• You bring an education as Freight Forwarding Clerk (m/w/d), Commercial Manager for Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services (m/w/d) or a comparable qualification, such as Industrial Manager (m/w/d) or Wholesale and Foreign Trade Manager (m/w/d)
• You ideally have work experience in transport disposition, freight forwarding processing, or logistics management
• You also have good knowledge of MS Office
• You work structured, keep an overview even in hectic phases, and impress with your organizational talent
• You are very proficient in German and good in English
