Accountant / Finance Specialist

IDES has been a leader in the recruitment, consulting, and training services market in Poland for 30 years. For its client in the Paper and Printing Industry, we are looking for individuals for the position of: Accountant / Finance Specialist

Your responsibilities

• Independent management of the full accounting cycle and ongoing recording of financial transactions
• Maintaining and reconciling accounts payable and receivable and accounting accounts
• Processing purchase and sales invoices, monitoring payments and receivables
• Participation in the month-end and financial year-end closing process
• Preparation and submission of VAT declarations and fulfillment of other tax obligations
• Cooperation with external tax advisors and institutions on accounting and tax matters
• Monitoring cash flows, performing banking operations, and ensuring ongoing financial liquidity
• Preparing documentation for audits and ensuring compliance of accounting processes with applicable regulations
• Maintaining and archiving financial and accounting documentation
• Cooperation with Management and the Group in Austria on current accounting and tax matters

Our requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in accounting in a similar position
• Very good knowledge of Polish accounting and tax regulations
• Practical knowledge of VAT-related processes
• Good knowledge of MS Excel
• Knowledge of SAP system
• Knowledge of English at a communicative level
• Independence, accuracy, and good work organization
• Ability to work with confidential financial data
