Specialist / Engineer for Technical Research and Vehicle Homologation M/F

The person responsible for organizing, preparing, and conducting technical, homologation, and specialized vehicle tests. We are looking for a practitioner with a very good knowledge of truck chassis construction, who can prepare a vehicle for tests, commission them, and participate in them to achieve the required results.

• organizing and coordinating technical, homologation, and specialized tests;
• defining the required scope of tests and documents;
• commissioning tests to diagnostic stations, laboratories, and research units;
• direct contact with vehicle inspection stations and diagnosticians;
• preparing vehicles and documentation for tests;
• personal participation in tests, including at units such as WITPiS and CNBOP-PIB;
• agreeing on the scope, method, and deadlines for tests;
• analysis of results, technical problems, and actions after non-conformities;
• cooperation with Construction regarding changes resulting from tests;
• checking the completeness of reports, protocols, and certificates;
• support with vehicle registration, homologation, and acceptance.

• very good practical knowledge of truck chassis construction – a necessary condition;
• knowledge of the braking system, suspension, steering system, pneumatics, electrics, and drivetrain;
• knowledge of masses, axle loads, dimensions, tires, and lighting;
• ability to work with technical documentation from chassis manufacturers;
• knowledge of technical inspection and vehicle approval issues;
• readiness for business trips related to tests;
• English language at least B2;
• driving license category B;
• no criminal record – a necessary condition.

Nice to have:

• automotive diagnostician qualifications;
• experience at an OSKP (Okresowa Stacja Kontroli Pojazdów - Periodic Vehicle Inspection Station);
• WITPiS, CNBOP-PIB or other research units;
• driving license category C;
• multi-stage homologation.
