Project Purchasing Specialist (M/F)

Your responsibilities

• Management of sourcing project costs.
• Creation of BOM cost models for purchasing processes.
• Coordination and leading of project meetings.
• Development and implementation of sourcing strategies.
• Execution of activities related to purchasing cost optimization.
• Close cooperation with global Project Management structures regarding project execution, reporting, and cost activities.
• Development and execution of purchasing strategies aligned with the company's business goals.
• Identification, qualification, and development of suppliers in the domestic and international markets.
• Conducting RFQ (Request for Quotation) and RFI (Request for Information) processes.
• Negotiation of commercial terms and contracts with suppliers.
• Building long-term relationships with suppliers.
• Analysis of cost structures and market trends.
• Cooperation with departments: Engineering, R&D, Quality, Logistics, Finance, and Production.
• Participation in new product development projects, from the prototype phase to serial implementation.
• Monitoring project schedules and identifying potential risks.
• Preparation, opinion, and supervision of supplier contracts.
• Ensuring compliance of purchasing activities with quality requirements, regulations, and company procedures.

Our requirements

• Higher technical education.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the area of production purchasing, project purchasing, or project management in a manufacturing company.
• Experience in the automotive industry will be an additional asset.
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Analytical skills and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under time pressure.
• Developed communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build business relationships.
• Very good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of an additional foreign language will be an asset.
• Driving license category B.
• Knowledge of production and technological processes related to stamped/pressed steel parts and plastic and rubber components.
• Teamwork skills.
• Goal-orientation, independence, systematic approach, accuracy, good organization of own work.
