Cost Estimator for Cubic and Engineering Structures M/F

Your scope of duties

• analysis of design documentation or description defining the types, scope, and method of performing works resulting from inventory and the Ordering Party's requirements in the engineering, cubic, and railway sectors related to passenger service,

• determination and coordination of technical, technological, and organizational data,

• sending out requests for quotations to subcontractors,

• effectively obtaining offers from contractors,

• selecting the most favorable offer from a subcontractor/supplier/service provider in terms of price and scope,

• formulating questions regarding technical documentation to investors,

• preparing cost estimates for tenders,

• updating databases,

• performing quantity take-offs for cost estimates based on design documentation,

• cooperation with other departments.

Our requirements

• technical higher education,

• at least 1 year of experience on construction sites in projects related to the construction/reconstruction of railway platforms, culverts, footbridges, bridges, viaducts, signal boxes, public utility buildings serving passenger traffic,

• experience in preparing cost estimates in the above scope,

• ability to prepare cost estimates using cost estimating software (Norma, Zuzia),

• very good knowledge of the MS Office package (especially MS Excel),

• driver's license category B,

• availability and willingness to undertake business trips,

• ability to work under time pressure,

• goal-oriented,

• communicativeness.

Nice to have

• construction building permits in the structural-building specialty without restrictions,

• knowledge of AutoCAD software,

• knowledge of the Public Procurement Law Act,

• knowledge of the English language.
