Estimating Specialist M/F

The hired person will be responsible for:

• analysis of project documentation or descriptions specifying the type, scope, and method of performing works resulting from inventory and the Client's requirements in the engineering, cubic, and railway sectors related to passenger service,

• determining and agreeing on technical, technological, and organizational data,

• determining and agreeing on technical, technological, and organizational data

• sending out requests for quotations to subcontractors,

• effectively obtaining offers from contractors,

• selecting the most advantageous offer in terms of price and scope from a subcontractor/ supplier/ service provider,

• formulating questions regarding technical documentation to investors,

• updating databases,

• preparing quantity take-offs for estimates based on project documentation,

• cooperation with other departments.

We expect from candidates:

• higher technical education,

• at least 1 year of experience on construction sites in projects related to the construction/ reconstruction of railway platforms, culverts, footbridges, bridges, viaducts, signal boxes, public utility buildings serving passengers,

• experience in preparing estimates in the above scope,

• ability to estimate using estimating software (Norma, Zuzia)

• very good knowledge of the MS Office package (especially MS Excel),

• responsibility, diligence,

• driving license category B,

• availability and readiness for business trips,

• ability to work under time pressure,

• goal orientation,

• communication skills.
