Specialist/Senior Cinematic Designer

Job Description CD PROJEKT RED is on the lookout for a talented Specialist or Senior Cinematic Designer to join our Warsaw team and contribute to the ongoing development of the Witcher 4. Our Cinematics team excels at crafting engaging interactive scenes and cutscenes using advanced animation libraries and motion capture technology. You'll collaborate with some of the industry’s leading storytellers to produce scenes that are emotionally gripping or action-packed and spectacular. As a Specialist/Senior Cinematic Designer at CD PROJEKT RED, your responsibilities will include: • Designing and implementing cinematic scenes using our proprietary animation tools and motion capture technology; • Collaborating with the game development team to ensure seamless integration of cinematics into the overall gameplay experience; • Developing and maintaining a deep understanding of the game's narrative and characters, as well as the technical requirements for bringing those elements to life in cinematic scenes; • Working closely with our 3D artists, animators, and other members of the Cinematics team to ensure high-quality results; • Participating in regular reviews and feedback sessions to refine your work and meet project goals; • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in cinematic design and animation. What we're looking for: • 3+ years of experience in cinematic design, animation, or a related field; • Strong portfolio showcasing your work as a Cinematic Designer; • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities; • Familiarity with motion capture technology and advanced animation libraries is a plus.
