Resilience Security Specialist
Job description
The incumbent will play a crucial role in ensuring the health and safety of our pan-Canadian studios, both at the level of employees, suppliers, visitors, The main mandate will consist in directing and supervising daily security operations, incident response and emergency across the country. He/She will provide informational, functional, and technical expertise on security matters to ensure and improve the current physical security posture by developing and maintaining procedures and processes, implementing controls and security systems to mitigate potential risks.
What you will do
- As a physical security expert, ensure compliance with team Security and Global Risk Management policies and regulations;
- Participate in the development of a pan-Canadian security strategy, define requirements and priorities, and supervise its implementation;
- Maintain physical security policies and standards;
- Conduct on-site and remote security assessments and ensure corrective actions are taken;
- Manage and supervise work orders and specifications for security agents;
- Participate actively in planning and deploying security projects, using your expertise to improve our security infrastructure;
- Direct the resolution of emergency situations, using your expertise to manage crises and ensure the safety of our personnel and assets;
- Provide physical security requirements for local internal and external events;
- Conduct evaluations of legal and regulatory requirements regarding health and physical security;
- Coordinate internal training on prevention and awareness of potential risks and threats;
- Participate as a key member of the Health and Safety Committee, bringing ideas and strategies to promote a safe working environment;
- Support the management of connected security contracts in collaboration with procurement, implementation of systems such as access control, alarm systems, intrusion detection systems, and video surveillance (CCTV);
- Develop and maintain security indicators and reports;
- Contribute to other resilience initiatives;
- Support and control security budget allocations;
- Perform all other related tasks.
