Specialist – Inventory Optimization and Obsolescence

As a Specialist in Inventory Optimization and Obsolescence, you ensure proactive management of obsolete and at-risk inventories, thereby ensuring the overall health of stocks and supply chain performance. Through in-depth data analysis, you maintain financial parameters, manage exit strategies to minimize losses, and collaborate with finance, procurement, and operations teams to absorb surpluses.

Your main responsibilities:

• Analyze the evolution of obsolete, excess, and low-rotation stocks, and produce precise monthly reports;
• Implement and track inventory exit plans with sales and operations teams;
• Develop and manage performance indicators related to at-risk inventories;
• Promote corrective actions and preventive strategies to minimize obsolescence;
• Document and oversee policies and procedures for inter-site transfers and supplier returns;
• Ensure process compliance and harmonious execution with procurement and operations teams;
• Identify inefficiencies in stock flows and propose sustainable solutions.
