To strengthen our legal department based in Biel, we are looking for, starting immediately or upon agreement, a

Trademarks and Designs Specialist (m/f/d) 100%

Management of trademark and design portfolios for Swatch Group companies, including:

• Advising Group companies on the protection of their trademarks and designs
• Filing, renewal, and analysis of trademark and design portfolios
• Availability searches for trademarks and monitoring of newly filed trademarks and designs
• Processing and management of trademark use declarations
• Handling disputes, in collaboration with external lawyers as appropriate
• Tracking various procedures and deadlines
• Instructing and managing external lawyers.
• Reporting to management
• Various administrative tasks related to portfolio management

Profile

• Specialist in trademark and design law with a legal background or a background from a University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HEG)
• Several years of experience in the field of trademark and design protection, preferably in an international environment.
• Native French or German speaker with excellent knowledge of the other language, and a very good command of English (written and oral)
• Team spirit, loyalty, availability, flexibility, and a sense of responsibility
• Precision, autonomy, responsiveness, and analytical skills
