Specialist in Suitability LSFin/FIDLEG (m/f/d) FINMA is responsible for the supervision of the Swiss financial market. It protects creditors, investors, and policyholders, and ensures the proper functioning of financial markets. In doing so, it contributes to improving the reputation, competitiveness, and viability of the Swiss financial center. It is to fulfill this mission that over 800 competent and motivated employees commit themselves every day. We offer you, within the Integrated Risk Expertise division, a position as Main Tasks
  • Conducting on-site inspections in the area of suitability and LSFin
  • Developing and implementing targeted supervisory measures
  • Advising and supporting supervisory teams on suitability issues
  • Identifying risks and weaknesses within supervised institutions
  • Analyzing regulatory developments and market trends
  • Participating in regulatory and supervisory projects
  • Collaborating on national and international work and evaluations
Required Profile
  • Master's degree in law or economics, ideally supplemented by relevant further training in compliance, risk management, auditing, or financial markets
  • 4 to 7 years of relevant professional experience in the financial sector, particularly in compliance, auditing, legal consulting, risk management, or prudential supervision, or in investment advisory and/or wealth management
  • Solid knowledge of LSFin (FIDLEG) and a good understanding of suitability and investor protection requirements
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, as well as a pragmatic and autonomous approach
  • Ease in collaborating with various stakeholders
  • French (C2 or native language), German (minimum B2), and English (minimum C1)
