Purchasing Office Specialist

The ideal candidate for the production purchasing office employee role is a sharp, determined, willing individual focused on achieving objectives.

We are looking for adaptable profiles who are also comfortable interacting with production.

The purchasing office employee will be responsible for:

• Identify needs: Collaborate with various company departments to understand which goods or services are necessary for production.
• Supplier research: Find and evaluate the most suitable suppliers to meet the company's needs, both nationally and internationally.
• Negotiate: Interface with suppliers to negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery conditions, and other contractual aspects.
• Plan and issue orders: Manage the entire purchasing process, from planning to drafting orders using MRP, ensuring that timelines and budgets are respected.
• Manage relationships: Cultivate professional relationships with suppliers and collaborate with colleagues and other departments.
• Monitor and optimize: Control order flow, inventory levels, and costs to ensure operational efficiency.
• Manage documentation: Handle purchasing-related documentation, such as orders and invoices, in collaboration with administration to ensure compliance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in the role of purchasing office employee in the metalworking sector
• Knowledge of the English language
• Proficiency in Excel and the Office suite
• Previous experience in environments where an MRP/planning system is well-established

Humility, dynamism, problem-solving skills, teamwork abilities, and excellent organizational, relational, and communication skills complete the profile.

Work location: Aviano (PN)

Work schedule: full-time, standard working hours.

The employment package and salary will be discussed during the interview. RAL of 35 – 39k
