Role Purpose: Ensure the installation, operation, and maintenance of the physical infrastructure and IT infrastructure in the data center, responding to alerts and incidents according to procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, mount, dismount, and cable servers, storage equipment, network equipment, and power supply units in racks.
• Replace hardware components of equipment and perform testing after intervention.
• Install, organize, label, and maintain structured cabling using fiber optics and/or copper.
• Monitor infrastructure parameters through monitoring platforms (DCIM/BMS/NMS).
• Monitor data center equipment, power sources, and air conditioning systems.
• Receive, record alerts, and intervene to resolve them according to procedures.
• Execute remotely coordinated interventions, inspections, and maintenance for administration, networking, storage teams, or vendors.
• Handle incidents, escalate them to L2/L3 teams when necessary, and collaborate with technical teams and vendors.
• Control access to data center spaces, document technical interventions, equipment inventory, and infrastructure modifications, in accordance with operational and security procedures.
• Comply with operational procedures, health and safety/fire safety regulations, and deadlines imposed by SLAs.

Requirements

• Higher education in a technical field and English language at an intermediate-advanced level.
• Relevant experience in IT Support/NOC/TOC, IT infrastructure operation, or in a data center.
• Practical experience in mounting equipment in racks, structured cabling, and replacing hardware components.
• Knowledge of servers, RAID, remote management (IPMI/iDRAC/iLO), power supply, and cooling systems in data centers.
• Basic knowledge of networking, Linux and Windows Server operating systems; use of monitoring/DCIM and ticketing tools.
• Diagnostic ability, attention to detail, communication, and technical documentation skills; availability for shift work and aptitude for equipment handling.
• CompTIA, CDCP/CDCS, CCNA, or ITIL certifications are an advantage.
