SCADA Specialist (243351)

• Required Education: Higher technical education in the fields of: computer science, information technology, cyber security, electrical engineering or other related disciplines
• Required practical experience: Minimum 1 year in the activity of configuration, parameterization and maintenance of security equipment and systems
• Mandatory knowledge required by law: IPSSM-02-DEE, PE009/93, the standards and technical prescriptions regarding automations, protections and secondary circuits, technical operation regulations of electrical distribution networks
• IT and specialized knowledge:
  • Administration and maintenance of IT security equipment and systems - Cisco ASA, Fire Power, Checkpoint
  • Administration of data communication networks - Cisco IOS knowledge, EIGRP, BGP routing protocols, implementation of traffic filtering/securing policies
  • Knowledge of protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, BGP, DNS, SMTP, OSI Layer 3 and 4 etc.)
  • Skills in analyzing data traffic and equipment logs
  • Knowledge of administration of network systems and equipment (CCNA, CCNP certification or any other relevant certification in the field of network administration is an advantage)
  • Extracting security information from network monitoring tools/applications
  • IT systems administration - OS Windows, LINUX, UNIX/Solaris knowledge
  • Use of SCADA configuration and parameterization software for digital protection terminals and IED equipment produced by ABB, Siemens, Areva, Schneider, Efacec, Tavrida
  • Office software package (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Project), Autocad
• Others:
  • Knowledge of the operating principles and implementation of SCADA systems, related to high and medium voltage electrical distribution installations
  • Knowledge of standard communication protocols used in the energy field - IEC60870-5-101/104, DNP3.0, IEC61850, Modbus
  • Availability for teamwork, in extended hours

• Perform complex implementation, extension and maintenance works for EMS/DMS SCADA systems, distribution automation and related communication and security infrastructure within the company's management
• Perform configuration, parameterization, verification/testing, commissioning, overhaul, repair, diagnosis and incident remediation work on SCADA/SAD electricity systems and process communication infrastructure during normal working hours and on-call at home
• Ensure 24/7 continuous operation and preventive and corrective maintenance of the SCADA system
• You are responsible for the application of vulnerability correction measures (Vulnerability Management) and the local measures necessary for the identification and remediation of security incidents (Incident Detection, Incident Response) of SCADA/SAD systems and equipment and the communication systems of the SCADA process network identified by the Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT)/Security Operation Center (SOC) and report the related activities
• You are responsible for the permanent updating of the inventory of equipment and systems in the SCADA process network and the applications used in the SCADA/SAD systems
