Job description

The Ideal Candidate

Graduated higher education, preferably in fields such as statistics, energy engineering, mathematics, economics, automation, computer science, economic computer science, or related fields;
Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Excel – use of advanced functions, formulas, pivot tables, charts, and data analysis tools;
Ability to process, analyze, interpret, and validate data necessary for the forecasting process;
Knowledge of English at an intermediate level.
It is an advantage:
Studies in statistics, econometrics, data analysis, or experience in forecasting activities;
Experience in the field of electricity, energy distribution, consumption forecasting, or energy procurement;
Experience working with large volumes of data and performing analyses and reports;
Basic knowledge of statistical methods and forecasting models;
Knowledge of performance indicators and forecast accuracy monitoring methods;
Knowledge of using SAP application;
Knowledge of using data analysis and visualization tools/applications (Power BI, SQL, Python, R etc.)

Job Description

Responsible for using the forecasting model and updating the data that constitutes inputs to the forecasting model;
Proposes and updates the monthly forecast regarding technological own consumption (CPT) in the distribution network;
Prepares the daily forecast regarding technological own consumption (CPT) in the distribution network, on a 15-minute dispatch/settlement interval for bidding on the next-day market (PZU), Intraday Market (PI);
Responsible for analyzing and establishing the optimal electricity forecast variant to cover CPT;
Monitors the results obtained by applying the forecasting model used;
Selected candidates will be contacted.
