Job description
IT Specialist, with primary responsibility for information security, network infrastructure, system access and protection.
Requirements
- higher education in the field;
- solid knowledge of network infrastructure (switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, routing);
- experience in administering Active Directory (accounts, permissions, groups, access policies) and remote access / VPN;
- knowledge of IT security: firewall, antivirus / EDR, endpoint protection, security updates, incident investigation;
- aptitudes: observational skills; distributed attention; communication skills; diagnostic and operational intervention capabilities;
- personal characteristics: disciplined, practical, persistent; integrity;
Responsibilities
- administration of IT security policies;
- management of firewalls, antivirus / EDR and endpoint protection solutions;
- management of user access (accounts, permissions, groups, VPN);
- application of security updates on network equipment and systems under responsibility;
- performing backups for critical network / security configurations;
- documentation of security incidents and corrective measures.
- administration of network infrastructure (switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points);
- configuration and maintenance of VLANs, DHCP, DNS, routing;
- administration of the SOCEP S.A. network and Active Directory domain;
- monitoring of network performance and availability; diagnosing and resolving connectivity issues;
- management of VPN and secure remote access;
- collaboration with internet / telecommunications service providers; planning network expansions.
- development and updating of security and network procedures;
- participation in internal audits / controls in the area of security and network;
- instructions for users on security best practices;
