Specialist IT & Network Security (m/f/d)

Our client is a subsidiary of a leading group and specializes in the development of security and communication solutions, such as video surveillance, fire alarm systems, and access control systems.

Become part of a dedicated team of 20 that works with state-of-the-art technology and develops future-oriented solutions. In this role, you will design secure IT infrastructures from scratch – from network planning and securing to successful commissioning. You will ensure the trouble-free operation of IT networks, take care of patch and update management, and contribute your expertise to virtualization solutions.

Tasks

• Conceptualization and planning of secure IT networks
• Implementation and realization of network security solutions (e.g., network segmentation, firewalls, etc.)
• Patch management and regular updates for IT systems
• Implementation and management of virtualization solutions
• Ensuring the commissioning and continuous operational readiness of IT networks
• Conducting problem analyses and ensuring efficient service in case of problems
• Management and maintenance of Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

Qualification

• Completed vocational training/studies with an IT focus or comparable qualification
• Professional experience in network administration
• In-depth knowledge in the field of virtualization and networked IT systems
• Experience in IT security assessment and implementation (BSI Grundschutz, ISO 27001)
• Willingness to travel up to 40% (Düsseldorf, Cologne, Bonn area)
• Driver's license class B
• Fluent German language skills
