IT Specialist

Location: Bucharest

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues for equipment and applications used within the company;
• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of workstations, IT equipment, and peripherals;
• Administration and maintenance of the computer network and IT infrastructure;
• Installation, configuration, and administration of operating systems and software applications;
• Administration of user accounts, email addresses, assigned equipment, and software licenses;
• Providing technical support to internal users, including through remote interventions;
• Offering support for Microsoft 365 solutions (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, etc.);
• Configuring and troubleshooting issues related to Microsoft 365 services and applications;
• Monitoring and implementing IT security measures, including antivirus, antispam, and security policies;
• Verifying backup processes and data synchronization via OneDrive;
• Implementing and administering IT solutions to optimize company operations, including ERP, RPA, and AI-based OCR solutions;
• Identifying and proposing IT solutions for process streamlining and infrastructure improvement;
• Participating in IT projects and implementing new applications and technologies based on company needs;
• Traveling to work locations to inspect infrastructure and resolve potential technical issues;
• Creating and updating records and documentation regarding equipment, applications, and IT infrastructure;
• Adhering to internal procedures, security policies, and OSH and environmental protection regulations;
• Continuously maintaining technical knowledge and competencies in line with IT field evolution.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years in a similar role;
• Microsoft 365 specialization/certification – an advantage;
• Advanced knowledge in providing technical support for Windows operating systems;

* Microsoft Windows (installation, configuration, troubleshooting);

* Microsoft Office (installation, general configuration, Outlook email configuration);

• Knowledge of Active Directory (Group Policy, DNS, startup scripts, Groups Management);
• Managing and configuring VPN connections on workstations;
• Ability to differentiate problems caused by software, hardware, and communication networks;
• Intermediate-advanced knowledge of networks and standard diagnostic applications (ping, telnet, proxy, etc.) and structured cabling (ability to connect equipment to the network directly or via switches);
• Knowledge of computer and peripheral architectures and the ability to search for and install necessary drivers and firmware;
• Advanced knowledge of data transfer and communication equipment.
