Job Description
Specialist IT / Developer Python & GIS PlatformCompany Stereographic, the national leader in topography, cadastral surveying, 3D scanning, and GIS solutions for public administrations, is expanding its technical team and seeking a passionate IT specialist who loves programming and spatial systems.
Developing a web-based GIS platform that allows municipalities to access cartographic databases with individual user and password access.
Integrating and translating existing GIS data (QGIS, GeoPackage, shapefile, etc.) into an interactive web interface.
Automating database update processes and optimizing application performance.
Collaborating closely with topography and GIS teams to understand data flows and implement them in the platform.
Solid knowledge of Python (Flask/Django/FastAPI);
Experience with spatial databases (PostGIS, GeoServer, QGIS Server);
Experience in GIS platforms and manipulating spatial data (vector, raster);
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Leaflet, OpenLayers, Mapbox GL) - represents an advantage;
Ability to develop secure web applications with multi-role authentication;
Prior experience in GIS/Smart City/Digital Twin projects - constitutes an advantage.
